この作品は個包装されたレモン石鹸を展示会場に配置し、それを来場者の方に持ち帰っていただくという参加型の作品です。展示されたレモン石鹸を持ち帰るという行為は美術における彫像と似た行為であると私は考えています。持ち帰ることによって削られていく像はそこに誰かがいた痕跡を私たちに伝えてくれます。そして持ち帰った石鹸は、私たちがそこにいたとい う記憶を留めてくれます。
「誰かがそこにいた。そして、そこに私もいた。」そんな日常をかたちある像として、私は留めておきたい。
This Work is a participatory work in which individually wrapped lemon soaps are placed in the exhibition space and visitors are invited to take them home. I believe that act of taking home the exhibited lemon soaps is similar to act of sculpting in art. The statue, which is being scraped away as it is taken home, conveys to us traces of someone's presence there. And the soap visitors take home keeps memory that they" were there."Someone was there. And I was there." I want to keep such everyday life as a tangible image.
