この作品におけるミラーフィルム（集合体）がもたらす像・光・音の連続性は、パンデミックや災害、海や空といった得体の知れない未知の塊を象徴するものであり、またそこに映し出されている自分自身でもあります。ミラーフィルムは見えない世界の中で自身と相対する装置となります。長さ1.8mに裁断されたミラーフィルム約2400本を通じて、鑑賞者が刹那な時間の繰り返しによって紡ぎ出される万物の動静を感じ、そこに含まれる意味や本質を自身との向き合いを通じて感じ取って頂きたいと思います。
The continuity of image, light and sound brought about by the mirror film (assemblage) in this work symbolizes pandemics and disasters, the unknown and unknowable masses of the sea and sky, as well as ourselves reflected in them. The mirror film becomes a device relative to itself in the invisible world. Through approximately 2,400 mirror films cut to a length of 1.8 m, I hope that visitors will feel movement and stillness of all things spun out by repetition of ephemeral moments in time and sense meaning and essence contained therein by confronting oneself.
